A high fat diet plan, when combined with carbohydrates, can delay fat loss and risk muscle, which harms physical appearance. Alternatively, when a high fat dietary composition is coupled with a low level of carbohydrates (which is often the case), muscle is lost, and metabolism slows, which prevents long term fat loss. Always remember that your goal is to burn fat, and although a reduction in muscle mass may lower the overall scale reading, it will not enhance physical appearance. In fact, muscle loss reduces metabolic rate (the speed at which you burn fat), which is why so many experience lackluster results (and quickly deviate to their original, ineffective diet routines).

A proper blend of protein, carbohydrate and fat provides the body with an effective combination of nutrients for consistent fat loss and maximum energy levels. Remember, desirable weight loss (which burns stored fat) results from a specific mixture of nutrients, and not a high fat and low carbohydrate content (these are fad type routines that will prevent permanent weight loss).

The proper combination of calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat will help you achieve your permanent weight loss goals. I have achieved tremendous success (over 50 pounds of fat lost), and am teaching men and women around the world how to lose weight and burn fat naturally through my IncrediBody Transformation Program.
